can we call the “mag mile” area between, say the lake, the river, oak and state “uptown”? “streeterville” never really encompasses what I’m talking about, gold coast is a bit too far north for much of the area, and I feel like a douche saying “mag mile.” I always am apt to say “downtown” to refer to the area, but I suppose that’s just the loop.
Anyway, whatever you want to call it, the light is insane here right now. Like natural fashion lighting; I seriously though someone had a giant spotlight turned on ((no, smartie, that’s the sun…)
I know, Chicago’s sky is on fire.
