I love the Peanuts soundtrack so much that I can’t take it. It always made me really, really sad as a kid but I liked it a lot at the same time. Maybe its because Charlie Brown’s girlfriend was in the hospital when I heard this song. I think it was this tune at least. I remember her waving out the window at him with a really slow tune like this playing and, of course, Snoopy was kicked out of the Hospital with the “No Doooogs Alloooowed” voice resonating as he’s being booted to the street. Instant lump in my throat as a 5 year old or whatever. I hope she lived to marry Charlie…
